Laura Foster Nicholson is a textile artist known for handwoven tapestries as well as designs for interior textiles. An independent studio artist since 1983, she has continuously produced and exhibited throughout this time.
Her artwork is in museum collections, including the Art Institute of Chicago, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum/Smithsonian Institution, Archives of the Venice Biennale (Italy), Denver Art Museum, and Racine Art Museum, among others.
